📋 Description

• Create research-based carousel content for social media • Draft short-form video scripts for platforms such as Reels and TikTok • Monitor trends and cultural conversations, especially those related to Canadian founders and women in business • Support blog writing and editorial development • Assist with content repurposing, formatting, and content adaptation across channels • Build deep-dive research briefs on relevant topics such as founder trends, venture capital insights, and economic themes • Fact-check content and gather credible citations from trusted sources • Update and format blog content inside Shopify • Assist with product page and landing page messaging updates • Help optimize headlines, meta descriptions, and internal linking for SEO • Support SEO-friendly blog publishing workflows • Track basic website engagement metrics • Contribute to the execution of the broader marketing roadmap • Help maintain a high-quality brand voice across content and communications

🎯 Requirements

• Experience creating written content for marketing, communications, content, or brand-focused roles • Ability to turn research and insights into engaging, easy-to-digest content • Strong copywriting skills with close attention to tone, structure, and clarity • Familiarity with short-form content formats and social media storytelling • Ability to conduct independent research and fact-check information • Working knowledge of Shopify, or the ability to learn it quickly • Basic understanding of SEO best practices for blogs and website content • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment • Interest in AI tools and digital workflows
