• Work effectively with all departments, which shall include reviewing and drafting contracts, assistance in potential litigation matters, and advising on legal issues specific to each department. • Draft and negotiate operational agreements, such as and without limitation, Master Services Agreements for business departments, marketing, and business development agreements, and service and supply agreements. • Support all day to day needs of the Legal Department. • Develop and modify policies, practices, and guidelines to confirm with business requirements and maintain compliance with applicable state, federal and international laws, and regulations. • Manage dissemination within the company of information needed to maintain compliance with laws and regulations. • Coordinate with human resources to implement risk management and corporate structuring initiatives. • Assist with the selection, retention, and management of outside counsel.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with eligibility for admission in the jurisdiction of employment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to businesses. • 2–4 years of practice with an established law firm or relevant in-house counsel experience (in-house experience highly preferred). • Proficient experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts. • Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.
