Descrição

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for pathology workflows, specimen management requirements, and laboratory operations supporting molecular and precision medicine testing • Conduct onsite and virtual pathology workflow assessments to evaluate laboratory operations and identify process optimization opportunities • Partner with pathology laboratories to improve specimen acquisition, handling, preservation, storage, submission practices, and workflow efficiency • Develop and implement recommendations to improve specimen quality, testing success rates, turnaround times, and operational performance • Collaborate with Commercial teams to assess customer operational needs and develop tailored workflow improvement strategies • Build and maintain relationships with pathology laboratory leadership throughout the customer lifecycle • Lead customer engagements, workflow mapping sessions, laboratory assessments, and operational reviews • Develop implementation plans for standardized workflows, operational best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives • Monitor customer progress, identify barriers to success, and recommend corrective actions • Develop and deliver educational programs and create educational materials, workflow documentation, presentations, and implementation resources • Evaluate performance metrics, operational data, testing outcomes, specimen quality, turnaround times, and workflow efficiency • Analyze operational trends, identify root causes, and develop data-driven corrective and preventive action recommendations • Develop and present KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and executive summaries • Apply Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies • Present workflow findings, laboratory performance data, and recommendations to pathology leadership and executive stakeholders • Investigate and resolve pathology process issues affecting specimen quality, testing success, laboratory efficiency, and customer satisfaction • Analyze QNS trends, specimen acquisition challenges, pre-qualification delays, and workflow inefficiencies • Partner with Laboratory Operations, Logistics, Commercial, Product Management, Information Systems, and other stakeholders to improve end-to-end specimen management • Support product introductions, operational implementations, customer onboarding, and enterprise initiatives • Provide customer insights and field feedback supporting process improvements, product enhancements, and future strategies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, related STEM discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in pathology operations, laboratory operations, healthcare consulting, pathology sales, laboratory process improvement, operational excellence, or a related healthcare environment • Demonstrated experience conducting customer-facing workflow assessments and developing operational improvement recommendations • Experience presenting operational findings and influencing pathology laboratory leadership and executive stakeholders • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate operational data into actionable recommendations • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills • Ability to travel extensively to support onsite customer engagements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio, with general working knowledge of the Internet for business use • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred • Experience in clinical diagnostics, pathology laboratory operations, biotechnology, medical devices, or healthcare services preferred • Knowledge of specimen management, laboratory workflows, molecular diagnostics, pathology operations, and precision medicine preferred • Experience supporting new product introductions within regulated healthcare environments preferred • Experience designing laboratory operational workflows involving specimen logistics, ordering processes, reporting, and external vendor management preferred • Experience leading customer-facing operational consulting engagements preferred • Experience implementing scalable workflow improvements that deliver measurable operational outcomes preferred • Ability to travel extensively by commercial airline and automobile • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and conduct onsite customer assessments for extended periods • Ability to present to customer groups, laboratory leadership, and executive stakeholders in onsite and virtual environments • Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods • Ability to transport presentation materials and equipment consistent with normal business travel requirements • Successful completion of pre-employment process, including criminal background check, drug screening, credit check where applicable, and reference verification
