Descrição

• Maintain staffing and capacity visibility across all engineering squads and align capacity with priorities • Reallocate people across teams and projects as priorities shift; forecast and flag capacity gaps • Partner with recruiting on hiring plans and manage contractor/vendor staffing • Manage team leads on planning, allocation, and delivery cadence while the engineering leader owns technical direction • Own resource-level scheduling and coordinate responses when timelines slip • Track delivery across teams and surface risks and dependencies • Run planning and reporting to provide the engineering leader with clear status visibility • Maintain a trusted inventory and dashboard for approximately 40 third-party technical agreements • Track agreement scopes, terms, fees, owners, renewals, and termination dates • Coordinate new and renewing agreements with Legal, Finance, and vendors • Support negotiations and manage vendor communications • Own operational vendor relationships, onboarding, technical coordination, issue escalation, and SLA tracking • Handle recurring administrative and coordination tasks, prepare materials, track action items, and follow through on operational details • Serve as a trusted extension of the engineering leader and anticipate operational needs

🎯 Requisitos

• 7+ years in or around software engineering • Strong operational and management experience • Proven experience running staffing, capacity, and delivery coordination for 25–50+ engineers • Direct experience managing vendor or third-party technical agreements, including terms, renewals, and negotiations at meaningful scale • Exceptionally organized and systematic, with ability to manage many concurrent threads • Technical fluency sufficient to coordinate engineers and vendors and understand agreement coverage; coding is not required • Comfortable operating as a trusted leader’s right hand with high follow-through • Strong cross-functional communication across Engineering, Product, Legal, and Finance • Familiarity with planning and tracking tools such as Jira and Linear • Familiarity with contract/vendor management practices • Based in the USA or Canada • Able to maintain sufficient daily overlap with the team and engineering leader • Comfortable working in a distributed organization • Nice to have: experience in a fast-paced product company, especially gaming, consumer, or high-growth software • Nice to have: background as a chief of staff, engineering operations lead, or technical program lead
