Descrição

• Represent the founders in rooms they cannot be in, deciding when to act and when to escalate • Run the operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, weekly and monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, and decision follow-through • Drive cross-functional initiatives across sales, client success, recruiting, and finance • Connect founders and department leads by translating strategy into workstreams and surfacing risks • Progressively own Pearl’s internal operations, with expected formal leadership of the function within 12–18 months • Build analyses for pricing changes, new market entry, competitive positioning, and build-versus-buy decisions • Monitor staffing, recruiting, and services businesses to identify best practices • Own high-priority initiatives from ambiguous mandate through shipped result • Establish the operational day-to-day cadence so meetings have agendas, decisions have owners, and follow-through occurs • Unblock and coordinate VPs across the company so cross-functional initiatives progress without founder intervention

🎯 Requisitos

• Experience as a chief of staff at a fund or early-stage startup, or as an ex-consultant with bizops/strategy experience • Experience as a bizops or strategy and operations lead at a high-growth startup • Operating experience in a portfolio company after investment banking or private equity • Founding-team experience at an operationally intensive startup that scaled quickly • Operations or delivery leadership in a services-based agency • Desire to run operations and progress into a VP of Operations role • Extreme ownership and speed; ability to close loops without being chased • Ability to build processes, automate or delegate work, and reduce reliance on heroics • Structured thinking under ambiguity; ability to turn vague requests into scoped projects with timelines, owners, and definitions of done • Strong writing and communication skills for decision memos, documents, and updates • Low ego and high standards; willingness to handle both strategy and detailed operational work • Comfort with a services business; staffing, recruiting, agency, people-driven business, marketplace, or B2B SaaS experience is relevant
