Descrição

• Develop capability growth strategy and build global alignment for high-integrity software and controls engineering • Manage performance and support career planning and development for Controls software engineers • Mentor engineers to improve technical capability and project performance • Enable technical excellence of engineering deliverables • Review and approve technical deliverables, including engineering documentation and drawings • Ensure compliance with product certification requirements such as RTCA/DO-178 and ARP4754 • Own and drive updates to development processes • Estimate software engineering effort with development teams, program management, and customers • Perform specialist-level project tasks to develop and certify control systems • Collaborate with capability leads and Chiefs on Controls strategic plans

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of software or systems experience, or Master's degree in STEM with 3+ years of experience, or PhD in STEM • Software experience, including traditional and model-based software, or systems experience • U.S. Citizenship • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance • Preferred: 10+ years developing and integrating embedded software systems for gas turbine engines or equivalent safety-critical systems • Prior leadership experience • Aerospace regulations and standards experience, including ARP 4754, DO-178, DO-254, and DO-160 • Experience demonstrating compliance with and writing process sets for industry standards • Project management, data reporting, budgetary control, and cost management experience • Experience presenting reports or communications to senior or executive stakeholders • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing deadlines • Familiarity with aerospace/military verification and certification requirements, including SOI audits
