Descrição

• Design, build, and scale distributed systems using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot for a live real-money trading platform • Own and optimize high-throughput Kafka event pipelines, including partition strategy, consumer group design, and exactly-once processing • Build high-throughput, low-latency event-stream systems ensuring data integrity, cache coherence, and sub-millisecond read paths • Partner with product and engineering leadership on cross-domain technical decisions • Diagnose and durably fix production issues in a live trading environment • Identify performance bottlenecks and technical risks before they affect trading operations • Raise engineering standards through design documents, code and architecture reviews, and scalable engineering patterns

🎯 Requisitos

• 7+ years building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems in production • Expert-level proficiency in Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot • Strong command of REST, gRPC, and Protobuf API design • Deep hands-on experience with Kafka, Redpanda, or Pub/Sub • Knowledge of Kafka partition strategies, consumer group rebalancing, and delivery guarantees • Deep experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging • Demonstrated end-to-end domain ownership of systems • Strong performance optimization skills involving latency, throughput, and data pipeline efficiency • Clear, direct communication skills • High tolerance for ambiguity and speed • Preferred: experience with real-time delivery systems such as WebSocket fan-out, server-sent events, or pub/sub at scale • Preferred: familiarity with financial platforms, real-time trading systems, or prediction markets • Preferred: experience in a high-growth startup environment • Preferred: familiarity with FIX protocol or exchange connectivity patterns
