Descrição

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment • Provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process • Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences • Monitor student progress through K12's learning management system • Work with students and parents to advance learning and develop post-secondary success plans • Maintain the grade book and ensure academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions and alert administrators to performance concerns • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Maintain positive rapport and communicate regularly with families, students, and learning coaches/parents • Support parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Apply state, national, and industry-specific learning standards • Develop instructional tools and strategies to enhance curriculum • Collaborate with the school and national professional learning community • Administer and proctor certification assessments where applicable • Serve as an Advisor for a Career & Technical Student Organization • Support creation of business and industry partnerships for work-based learning experiences • Support a project-based learning model • Travel up to 20% for professional development, student testing, and/or school requirements

🎯 Requisitos

• North Carolina CRE Business and Marketing Teaching Certification required • Out-of-state residents must have a North Carolina teaching certification • Residents must be in North Carolina or a border state within a 30-mile radius • Bachelor's degree • Active state teaching license • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Ability to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers • Ability to receive regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
