In 2022 my wife was looking for a remote job. She applied to everything on LinkedIn. Dozens of applications a week.
She heard nothing back. Not even rejections.
The problem wasn't her. By the time a job shows up on LinkedIn, hundreds of people have already applied.
And the jobs that were actually winnable, the ones sitting quietly on company career pages, never showed up on the big job boards at all.
Job boards only list jobs from employers who pay them.
That felt broken. So I built her the job board I wished existed.
Remote Rocketship scans the career pages of over 100,000 companies around the clock and puts every remote job it finds in one place. You see jobs early, apply before the crowd shows up, and skip the LinkedIn pile-up entirely.
I launched it with a post on Reddit in January 2023. It's been growing ever since.

What I believe
- You are the customer, not employers. No company pays us to list their jobs, so we have no reason to push anything at you.
- Applying early beats applying often. Being one of the first 10 applicants is worth more than 100 applications into the void.
- No ads, no recruiter spam, ever. We never sell your data. When you apply, you apply directly on the employer's website.
- Skepticism is healthy. You should question every job site that asks for money. That's why I wrote the honest answer to "is Remote Rocketship legit?" myself.
Still just me
No investors. No big ad budget. A small team of freelancers helps out, but I write the code, I run the scrapers, and if you email support there's a good chance I'm the one replying.
I'm a software engineer. I spent five years at Meta before leaving to build my own products, and I've shared this journey publicly from day one: revenue numbers, failed pricing experiments, even the technical mistakes.
