📋 Description

• Build and iterate on interactive dashboards in Hex for financial and business performance • Translate business questions into self-serve reporting and actionable analysis across ARR, paying customer accounts, retention, subscriptions, and related metrics • Contribute to trusted data models supporting new pricing approaches, product lines, and evolving business models • Support month-end, quarter-end, and financial reporting cycles by investigating variances, identifying drivers, and explaining changes • Automate recurring manual and spreadsheet-based tasks using AI skills and workflows • Partner with Analytics Engineering to productionize reporting sources, improve data quality, and maintain clear metric definitions • Present work to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Data and Analytics teams • Report to the Senior Manager, Financial Data Analytics

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in analytics or a related data role • Proficiency in SQL, including joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and analysis of large datasets • Understanding of data modeling practices, including fact and dimension tables and star schemas • Ability to translate stakeholder questions into analytical deliverables, gather requirements, and improve dashboards based on feedback • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and careful attention to detail • Experience with Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data is a plus • Familiarity with annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, subscriptions, or customer cohorts is a plus • Experience with BI or AI tools such as Hex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms is a plus • Exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources such as Salesforce, Stripe, or NetSuite is valuable • Must already be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; no work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship provided • Successful applicants must complete a background check
