📋 Description

• Support an IRS code modernization project • Understand project requirements and turn them into clear test plans and test cases • Set up test environments and run both manual and automated tests • Log and track defects, and work with the team to get them fixed • Perform regression and acceptance testing • Support backend testing, including APIs and databases • Work with automation tools like Selenium or Cypress • Take part in the full software development lifecycle and CI/CD process • Help improve testing processes and contribute to better software quality • Support non-functional testing such as Accessibility, Performance, and Security

🎯 Requirements

• Active IRS MBI Clearance Required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred (more experience required if no degree) • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical people • Good time management and teamwork skills • Experience writing and executing test scripts • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks • Familiarity with backend testing, CI/CD, and the overall software development lifecycle • Experience with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
