📋 Description
• Provide safe nursing care during student transportation • Deliver care in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders • Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice • Perform clinical procedures including tracheostomy care, suctioning, enteral feeding, oxygen therapy, seizure management, and other nursing interventions • Monitor student health and respond appropriately to medical concerns • Communicate professionally with families, schools, transportation staff, and the clinical team • Help ensure students travel safely between home and school
🎯 Requirements
• Current registration in good standing with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), or College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides (CLHA) • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills • Valid Alberta driver's license and reliable transportation • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search • Pediatric, school health, home care, or community nursing experience considered an asset
