📋 Description

• Establish, foster, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders to build scientific data awareness and advocacy • Ensure a strong medical and scientific presence for ADC in key academic centers by facilitating research initiatives • Create and execute short- and long-term clinical and scientific support plans based on unmet needs and competitive landscape • Collaborate cross-functionally with Continuing Health Education, Market Access, and Sales while retaining functional independence • Provide clinical protocol expertise to investigators for company-sponsored studies, consistent with company objectives, Health Canada regulations, and required approvals • Support investigators regarding the Investigator Initiated Study program • Act as a clinical and scientific resource within Medical Affairs regarding disease states and company products • Deliver credible scientific presentations to healthcare providers individually or in groups • Participate in selecting qualified thought leaders for educational and advisory collaborations • Attend scientific meetings and conferences; develop summaries of key data and relevant information; staff Medical Affairs exhibit booths • Provide scientific and technical support for scientific or medical publications • Conduct activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, company policies, and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Medical or Scientific degree (NP, M.D., PhD or Pharm D.) is preferred; candidates with a degree in a relevant discipline or CDE and demonstrated experience will be considered • Minimum 1 year of experience in an MSL role in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/device industry/health care • Must be able to travel 60% of the time, including overnight travel and occasional weekends • Proven ability to work independently with excellent self-leadership • Ability to function with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative • In-depth scientific and clinical knowledge and ability to understand and integrate complex scientific concepts • Superior written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build partnerships with opinion leaders • Understanding of Clinical Research/Good Clinical Practice • Diabetes experience is preferred
