đź“‹ Description

• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, affiliated physicians, healthcare organizations, professional societies, and government representatives • Provide accurate, up-to-date scientific information on targeted products and therapeutic areas • Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and their clinic staff • Represent Allergan at scientific meetings and national and regional professional conferences • Collaborate with the Medical Advisor to develop and coordinate symposia and speaker programs • Identify and develop key opinion leaders and scientists for clinical trials, symposia, speaker programs, and advisory boards • Follow up on investigator-initiated research proposals and publication projects • Participate in training for sales and commercial staff • Develop a field visit itinerary that addresses the medical information needs of the assigned territory • Maintain effective budgetary control over medical expenses • Complete administrative tasks within established deadlines • Perform duties in accordance with organizational policies and applicable federal and provincial laws and regulations • Facilitate roundtable discussions with regional KOLs and HCPs • Travel regularly throughout Canada and internationally (75%)

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency / fluency in English required • French proficiency required • Ability to make relevant recommendations, influence, and persuade • Ability to provide high-quality service and build trusted relationships with internal and external customers • Research, analyze, and evaluate methods for disseminating medical and scientific information • Manage and organize multiple projects and assignments within established deadlines • Self-motivated, proactive, and takes initiative • Doctorate required (Medicine, Pharmacy, or PhD) • Minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical company or start-up • Knowledge of Health Canada regulatory requirements, FDA GMP/cGMP requirements, PAAB, Rx&D, and PMPRB • Ability to deliver scientific presentations to an audience of healthcare professionals • Knowledge of pharmacology and pharmaceutical principles • Understanding of mathematical and statistical analysis principles in clinical studies • Understanding of the fundamental principles of scientific research and the design and conduct of clinical and preclinical studies
