📋 Description

• Assist in drafting pleadings, including complaints, oppositions to motions to compel arbitration, and motions for settlement approval, for attorney review • Draft written discovery requests and responses under attorney supervision • Conduct legal research and prepare case law summaries and memoranda • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations alongside supervising attorneys, primarily virtually, with occasional in-person appearances required • Support client contact, including case updates, witness preparation, and settlement discussions, under attorney direction • Assist with settlement negotiations and case strategy sessions • Organize and manage case files to ensure deadlines are met and work product is high quality

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school • California Bar exam taken with results pending, or awaiting formal admission • Demonstrated interest in employment law and/or class action litigation • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills • Commitment to client advocacy and professional growth • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) • Prior experience in employment law or class action litigation, including internships or clinics (preferred)
