📋 Description

• Tutor elementary school students one-on-one using Reading Partners’ scripted, evidence-based digital curriculum • Provide online tutoring via video conferencing for students in North Texas, Detroit, Washington DC, Newark, New York, and South Carolina • Track student progress using Reading Partners tools • Complete routine check-ins with a Reading Partners team member • Assist the Reading Partners Program Coordinator with administrative duties • Attend Reading Partners orientation and training • Maintain availability Monday through Thursday between 8am–5pm

🎯 Requirements

• Eligible for Federal Work Study • Reside within one of these regions: North Texas, Detroit, Washington DC, Newark, New York, and South Carolina • Commitment to working 10–15 hours/week; schedules may work up to 20 hours/week • Consistent availability Monday through Thursday between 8am–5pm • Patience and empathy for students while holding high expectations • Willingness and eagerness to learn and receive coaching • Interest in interacting effectively with diverse student populations • Ability to work independently or with limited supervision • Access to reliable Wi-Fi and a PC, Mac, or Chromebook with functioning webcam, microphone, and headphones with a microphone • Abide by the Tutor Code of Conduct • Complete a Live Scan Background Check
