📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy production AI applications using Python and Azure • Build LLM-powered applications using prompt engineering, model integrations, tool calling, and AI workflows • Design and implement RAG solutions using embeddings, vector search, retrieval, knowledge grounding, and evaluation • Integrate AI applications with enterprise platforms, external APIs, databases, and Microsoft 365 • Build scalable backend services, APIs, data models, and application integrations • Develop agentic AI workflows using tools such as MCP and multi-agent patterns where appropriate • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into production solutions • Apply engineering practices around testing, security, observability, scalability, and performance

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience building production applications • Strong Python development experience with backend and/or full-stack applications • Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure-native services and enterprise integrations • Experience building production applications using LLMs, including prompt engineering and model integration • Hands-on RAG experience, including vector search, retrieval patterns, knowledge grounding, and evaluation • Experience integrating external APIs, enterprise platforms, and Microsoft 365 services • Strong database and SQL experience • Strong understanding of APIs, application architecture, and modern software engineering practices • Ability to take ambiguous business problems from concept through production deployment • Remote within the United States, with the ability to maintain meaningful overlap with Pacific Time working hours • Occasional travel may be required based on client needs • This role is not open to C2C • Preferred: Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, or Azure AI Foundry • Preferred: Experience with MCP, tool integrations, agentic workflows, or multi-agent architectures • Preferred: Experience with vector databases and enterprise search • Preferred: Experience with AI evaluation, observability, and monitoring • Preferred: Experience with CI/CD, containers, and cloud-native deployment • Preferred: Experience in consulting, media and entertainment, or other complex enterprise environments
