📋 Description

• Lead test automation efforts: Design, build, and maintain robust Cypress test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript for UI and API testing, ensuring high coverage and code quality • Contribute to automation strategy: Define and enforce best practices in automation, supporting the overall test strategy with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance • Optimize test frameworks: Continuously review and enhance automation frameworks to reduce execution time and improve flexibility and efficiency • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with developers, testers, product managers, and business analysts to troubleshoot issues, align on test priorities, and ensure product quality • Mentor and guide the QA team: Share best practices, perform code reviews, and support junior and mid-level testers to elevate the overall technical maturity of the team • Integrate automation into delivery pipelines: Implement and manage Cypress automation within CI/CD workflows for continuous quality assurance • Communicate results and improvements: Analyze test results, generate metrics, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Test Engineering • Proven expertise with Cypress using JavaScript or TypeScript for UI and API test automation • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing processes • Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
