📋 Description

• Service inbound corporate and government travel requests • Deliver extraordinary customer service to ALTOUR clients • Greet all clients with enthusiasm • Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process • Quote and book accurate domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations • Complete reservations accurately and promptly while following corporate travel policies • Follow Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act • Secure the lowest available air, car, and hotel rates at booking • Use client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when applicable • Utilize GDS low-fare search capabilities • Maintain productivity goals measured by transactions per day • Maintain quality goals measured by minimal customer service issues • Maintain customer-experience goals measured through call-monitoring performance • Work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM ET

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ travel selling experience • 5+ years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry • Expert in international travel bookings and process • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM • Exceptional, proactive customer service approach • Excellent travel industry knowledge • Mastery in Sabre GDS, formats, shortcuts, enhancements, pricing, and Smartpoint • Corporate travel experience required • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to service multiple accounts at a high level of customer service • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English • Ability to embrace change and adapt to new technologies and processes • Strong understanding of own skill set and development opportunities • Takes direction, offers suggestions, and asks for appropriate guidance when applicable • Demonstrates exceptional teamwork and proactively offers support • Acts as a leader among peers • Ability to provide constructive feedback to peers and leaders • Ability to handle most difficult situations with minimal guidance • Able to support peers in decision making • Knows when to escalate to a leader • Strong understanding of key Altour initiatives and strong change management skills
