📋 Description

• Support the accounting and operations functions of a portfolio of Aduro clients under a Management Company Controller • Communicate issues and escalations to the Accounting Manager or Controller • Process invoices, expense reports, basic payroll and benefits, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, and reconciliations • Set up recurring training sessions and follow up with Staff Accountants • Provide supporting process documentation and technical support • Review all Staff Accountant work • Conduct team meetings and 1:1 meetings to support Staff Accountants • Serve as the first point of contact for Staff Accountants, answer questions, run trainings, facilitate client interaction, and provide technical training • Review new vendor setup • Complete final review and approval of expense reporting, including intercompany expenses • Code and reconcile banking transactions in accordance with US GAAP • Perform other responsibilities as required by the team

🎯 Requirements

• 2 – 4 years of experience in an accounting role – experience with accounts payable and payroll preferred • Proficient in accounting systems such as Xero or Quickbooks • Comfortable with software systems including Gsuite, Microsoft Office, Box, Slack • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable working remotely • Must be detail-oriented, service-focused, thoughtful, and excellent at both written and verbal communication • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law and regulations
