📋 Description

• Partner with Client Success and Marketplace Teams as the data subject-matter expert for Revenue segments and merchants • Create business cases, insights, dashboards, and experiments for Affirm’s external merchant base • Create internal analyses to assess Revenue performance, drive recommendations, and inform segment strategy and execution • Standardize common use cases and provide analytics infrastructure • Automate analyses and dashboards to scale decision-making within Revenue and with external merchants • Define KPIs, performance benchmarks, and methodologies • Identify and work with structured and unstructured in-house and third-party data sources • Provide project and analytics guidance to cross-functional teams as the analytics point of contact • Propose, monitor, and contextualize experiment design and execution to optimize go-to-market efforts, quantify Affirm’s value to prospective merchants, and support upselling

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an analytically-driven role (consulting, finance, analytics, etc.) • Strong working knowledge of SQL • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Sigma, Looker, Tableau) • Understanding or demonstrated aptitude to learn Python is a plus • Demonstrated aptitude in leveraging AI tools for analytics (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to operate in ambiguity • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and choose impactful data to drive decisions • Ability to communicate effectively and craft compelling narratives for business and technical stakeholders • Strong organization and execution skills; ability to operate independently and drive multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously • Track record of building successful cross-functional relationships internally and externally • Track record of driving projects end to end, from strategy to implementation • Passion for disrupting the retail and lending industry • Knowledge of FinTech or Payments industry is nice to have • Prior data analytics experience for marketplace platforms is nice to have
