📋 Description

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery • Collaborate with product management, design and analytics during ideation and decision-making • Articulate technical constraints and evaluate risks and trade-offs • Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts • Escalate issues and support operational availability, keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts • Participate in growth and development activities, including the interview process • Work on front-end-facing cross-team projects across mobile and web technologies • Collaborate with product experience teams across Affirm

🎯 Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue • Experience shipping mobile apps using native or cross-platform languages like React Native • Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Kotlin or Python • Ability to turn simple problems or business scenarios into solutions interacting with multiple software components • Ability to write clear, well-tested and extensible code • Comfortable navigating a large code base and debugging others' code • Experience providing feedback through code reviews • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
