📋 Description

• Lead the design, configuration and delivery of the MUNIvers citizen portal using Salesforce Experience Cloud • Transition the existing Experience Cloud proof of concept into a secure, supportable production release • Translate product, customer and citizen requirements into effective portal solutions and user journeys • Configure Experience Cloud pages, navigation, components, branding and functionality • Develop Salesforce Flow, Lightning Web Components and Apex where standard functionality does not meet requirements • Establish reusable architecture, components and implementation patterns for multiple municipalities • Lead design, build, testing, deployment and post-production improvement • Design and implement authentication and access models for citizen users • Define authenticated and guest-user access • Design secure mechanisms associating citizens with entitled Salesforce records • Configure and manage Experience Cloud users, permission sets, sharing, record access and Salesforce security controls • Ensure citizens access only authorised property, tax, utility and related information • Apply security and privacy-by-design principles • Design intuitive, responsive and accessible digital experiences • Work with Product Managers to define and refine portal requirements and priorities • Translate municipal processes into citizen self-service experiences • Identify technical constraints, risks and dependencies and recommend solutions • Provide Experience Cloud technical leadership to Product Owners and Developers • Establish technical standards and development practices • Maintain solution and architecture documentation • Improve portal scalability, maintainability, security and usability • Contribute to the MUNIvers product roadmap and citizen self-service capabilities • Comply with Health and Safety, ISO27001 information security, ISO9001 quality management, environmental and compliance requirements • Report to the Chief Technology Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering Salesforce Experience Cloud • Demonstrated experience taking an Experience Cloud or comparable Salesforce external-user solution into production • Strong Salesforce platform knowledge including objects, data modelling, Flow, automation and security • Strong understanding of Salesforce external-user security including profiles, permission sets, sharing, record access and guest-user security • Experience designing authentication, registration and access models for external users • Hands-on capability with Lightning Web Components, Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS • Experience designing responsive and accessible customer or citizen-facing portals • Strong understanding of Salesforce development, testing, deployment and release-management practices • Demonstrated ability to translate business and user requirements into practical technical solutions • Ability to work independently and take technical ownership while collaborating effectively with Product, Administrators and Developers • Experience within local government, public sector or municipal environments is highly desirable • Experience with property tax, utility billing, payments or citizen self-service solutions is highly desirable • Experience with Canadian public-sector privacy, security and accessibility requirements is highly desirable • Experience designing reusable Salesforce solutions for deployment across multiple customers is highly desirable • Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer or Sharing & Visibility certifications are highly desirable • Strong solution design and problem-solving capability • Strong security mindset, particularly for external-user and public-facing solutions • Customer and citizen-focused approach to digital experience design • Comfortable operating as both a technical lead and hands-on practitioner • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical options and trade-offs clearly • Takes ownership, works independently and raises risks or blockers early • Strong attention to quality, maintainability and production outcomes • Ability to demonstrate behaviours reflecting Agilyx company values
