📋 Description

• Develop pricing guidance systems for hosts and methods to measure pricing feature impacts • Build optimized products, tools, programs, data products, inference frameworks, and intelligence for Airbnb guests, hosts, and marketplace growth • Build models to understand supply and demand effects on marketplace outcomes • Apply causal inference methods to measure product and pricing-tool impacts • Generate destination recommendations based on guest travel preferences • Build relationships with Product, Design, Engineering, and Analytics partners • Contribute to development and launch of data-driven products and models using AI tools • Write software in Python, SQL, or R to model, simulate, and measure feature impacts • Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover insights and develop actionable proposals • Communicate findings to leaders and stakeholders to support data-driven decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with a BS/master’s degree, or 2+ years of experience with a PhD • Experience with experimentation, causal observational analysis, and machine learning techniques • Experience partnering with product, engineering, and design on data-driven model or product development • Ability to prototype, build, and scale derived data assets • Strong SQL coding skills and proficiency in either Python or R • Strong oral and written communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Must live in a U.S. state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity • Work authorization, if applicable • Travel requirements, if applicable
