📋 Description

• Lead BizTech Enablement and Innovation, Airbnb BizTech's solutions partner to non-technical functions • Own Airbnb's approach to AI adoption and impact outside Engineering • Set the vision for AI-enabled work and hold functions accountable to measurable outcomes • Serve as BizTech's primary partner to E-Team leaders on AI transformation • Lead how non-technical functions discover, adopt, and gain value from business technology • Define Airbnb's two-year direction for AI-enabled work and build the team and partnerships to deliver it • Set multi-year AI adoption strategy, assess capability gaps and trends, and translate findings into roadmaps and investments • Simplify business technology tools and steer teams toward supported solutions • Set organizational OKRs, success criteria, and accountability for delivery • Provide executive readouts and establish frameworks for measuring AI business impact • Design and refine the operating model connecting technical functions and enablement networks • Shape AI enablement and influence AI tooling roadmaps for non-technical users • Direct external partner and consulting engagements, including scope, governance, and ROI • Set quality, reliability, security, and technology-support standards for production AI solutions • Lead a globally distributed, multi-disciplinary organization of managers, Business Solutions Engineers, Systems Architects, and Program Managers • Build talent and succession plans, hire senior talent, and coach and develop the team • Pilot new technologies, including AI, and transition proven solutions to product owners • Represent BizTech in company-wide AI forums and contribute to hiring committees and talent processes

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience in business technology, enterprise systems, digital transformation, or technical program leadership • 5+ years leading managers and multi-disciplinary teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Demonstrated track record setting and delivering multi-year strategy for a company-wide technology or transformation program with executive visibility • Experience leading business technology consulting, solutions engineering, or IT business partnering for non-technical teams • Experience influencing product and vendor roadmaps • Experience owning the quality, reliability, and support of technology solutions in production • Experience building trusted relationships with and influencing C-level and E-Team executives • Deep, hands-on understanding of generative AI tools and agentic workflows • Strong analytical judgment, including measurement frameworks, adoption and impact data, and data quality • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and rapid change • Experience designing operating models across multiple teams and organizations without direct authority • Experience attracting, hiring, and developing senior talent and managers across regions • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity • Preferred: experience leading enterprise AI adoption or change management at a large technology company • Preferred: experience managing external consulting partners and globally distributed teams • Preferred: ability to travel as needed, approximately 10 to 20%
