📋 Description

• Handle security concerns related to discrimination, threats to personal safety, domestic violence, suicide or self-harm, child exploitation, assault, drug-related activities, sex work, and human trafficking • Interact with Airbnb customers and community members via chat, social media, messaging, and phone • Manage complex cases from end to end to resolve customer issues in accordance with established methodologies and guidelines • Recognize the nature and severity of cases and engage other teams as needed • Handle serious or complex cases under close supervision • Identify and assess threatening and risky behavior • Evaluate and present multiple resolution options • Interact with key stakeholders with support from management • Manage an increased case volume without compromising quality • Document working methods, best practices, and standards • Provide expertise and guidance to less experienced team members • Collaborate with service delivery teams and key cross-functional partners

🎯 Requirements

• More than three years of relevant experience in customer service, mediation, emergency services, Trust & Safety operations, or similar call center roles • Experience in hospitality, particularly working on technology platforms, is an asset • Availability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings; schedules may change according to business needs • Ability to work under high pressure while handling sensitive, confidential, and potentially traumatic images, conversations, and content • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including conflict resolution • Ability to organize a high-volume workload, multitask, and set priorities • Basic computer skills, including Apple/Mac OS and Google Workspace • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset • Ability to assess risk, understand urgency, and exercise sound judgment • Ability to adapt to new tasks, responsibilities, priorities, environments, and teams • All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply
