📋 Description

• Design and build end-to-end full stack solutions translating business and operational needs into scalable, secure front- and back-end applications leveraging GIS technologies • Own delivery across solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement • Make and document architecture and design decisions and integrate enterprise GIS, open-source frameworks, and custom components • Design and build integrations and spatial data flows connecting GIS services with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms • Orchestrate generative and agentic AI throughout the development lifecycle while validating outputs and safeguarding sensitive information • Lead technical delivery hands-on, guide design, mentor developers, and set engineering and quality standards • Ensure quality, security, and reliability through Git-based source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and application lifecycle management • Provide production support, investigate issues, reduce technical debt, retire legacy components, and enable reusable patterns and services • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and users in an iterative continuous-delivery environment

🎯 Requirements

• University graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum 4 years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications end to end within cross-functional Agile teams • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks such as React • Back-end development experience with C#/.NET, Node.js, Python, or equivalent • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, or equivalent authentication/authorization • Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, DevOps principles, production support, and application lifecycle/change management • Ability to lead technical delivery hands-on, make architecture decisions, mentor developers, and deliver reliable production solutions • Practical experience using generative AI and agentic development tools, including critical evaluation of AI-generated output • Experience designing and building applications integrating GIS services using Esri ArcGIS and/or open-source GIS technologies • Working knowledge of coordinate reference systems, spatial data, and web services • Ability to work across diverse technology stacks and rapidly adapt to new tools and project environments • Alternative qualification: related two-year diploma plus six years of related experience • Alternative qualification: related one-year certificate plus seven years of related experience • Final candidates must undergo security screening • A written assessment may be required • Assets include Esri application stack, spatial ETL/integration tooling, enterprise geodatabase design, spatial database administration, mobile or field spatial solutions, API/event-driven integration, SRE practices, AI-augmented workflows, technical documentation, and listed professional certifications
