📋 Description

• Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and facilities according to customer specifications, GMP, quality, safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards • Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements • Establish equipment lists from validated P&IDs • Perform technical calculations and sizing for liquid-processing projects in food, dairy, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or brewery markets • Develop specifications and support RFQ processes through offer analysis and technical comparison • Manage purchase-order requisitions and support supplier follow-up • Support project, site, and engineering managers in design reviews of P&IDs, drawings, and 3D models • Manage and perform material control at reception • Complete projects within budget, specifications, and scheduling constraints • Prepare technical bid packages for mechanical installation of process equipment, platforms, pipe racks, piping, and other industrial components • Distribute bid packages to qualified contractors and perform technical alignment of proposals • Recommend contractor selection and bid awards • Coordinate onsite contractors with customer representatives • Oversee contractor compliance with contractual scope and quality standards • Issue non-conformance reports and ensure implementation of corrective action plans

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Processing, Agricultural, Biological, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience or CEP • Proficiency in both French and English • Authorized to work in Canada • Proficiency in MS Suite and other data entry software • Ability to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision • Strong interest in technical tasks and willingness to work in the field • Ability to perform heat and mass balances • Ability to calculate/verify pump and piping sizing • Strong attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent organizational skills
