📋 Description

• Own, develop, and maintain enterprise AI governance policies and standards • Define Responsible AI principles, acceptable use requirements, documentation requirements, and risk thresholds • Establish and maintain the AI policy hierarchy and alignment between policy, standards, and controls • Translate regulatory expectations and industry frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework into enforceable policies and standards • Define and document AI governance controls across the AI lifecycle • Develop control statements covering intent, scope, applicability, and expected evidence artifacts • Define minimum controls based on AI risk tier, model characteristics, data sensitivity, and usage context • Partner with AI Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Security, Audit, and delivery teams to embed measurable controls into SDLC and operational workflows • Maintain authoritative AI control documentation for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assurance • Support client-facing teams with AI governance content for inquiries, RFPs, and due diligence • Explain AI governance practices to clients and auditors • Support AI risk classification, documentation traceability, and audit readiness • Prepare and maintain AI governance evidence for audits, regulatory reviews, and client inquiries • Track AI-related findings and remediation status to drive continuous governance improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in AI governance, model risk management, compliance, audit, privacy, or related risk functions • Industry certifications such as Certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP), Advanced in AI Audit (AAIA), Risk & AI Certificate (RAI), or similar credentials • Ability to translate technical AI concepts into policies, standards, and control requirements • Risk-based mindset balancing compliance rigor with business adoption • Strong written communication skills, judgment, and attention to detail • Work authorization in the Employing Country without current or future visa sponsorship requirement • Successful completion of a background check, with checks determined by the position • Ability to participate in virtual interviews on video • Ability to travel occasionally to a physical Alight office if required
