📋 Description

• Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on Stanley automatic door systems and other electrical/mechanical equipment • Perform service and repair work in a cost-effective and appropriate manner • Record productive time versus travel time • Perform preventive maintenance according to the customer’s service schedule • Maintain work records and records of parts used for each service call • Stay informed about changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards • Keep manuals and technical information up to date • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other assets • Maintain the service vehicle’s parts inventory and keep a log • Maintain positive customer relationships and provide excellent customer service • Assist and train others in installation and service methods

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Ability to frequently climb up and down ladders • Ability to stand on concrete for several hours per day • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, and twist the spine • Ability to work in various climates • Ability to work at heights • Ability to lift and/or carry loads weighing up to 50–75 pounds • Flexible schedule required, including the ability to work nights and/or weekends or be on call • Previous experience servicing automatic doors preferred • Previous experience in construction or installing door and window frames preferred • Associate degree in a related electrical, mechanical, or industrial field preferred • Previous experience in electrical work, automotive, HVAC, or communications is an asset • Experience as a glazier installing glass doors or windows, as well as carpentry experience, is an asset
