📋 Description
• Architect and design digital products using modern tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems • Apply scientific and technological knowledge to software design, implementation, testing, and documentation • Own and manage applications in production and be accountable for digital product success through KPI achievement • Participate in inception and iteration planning meetings, providing technical input to backlogs with product managers • Collaborate on strategy alignment across product portfolios with product managers, peers, and stakeholders • Serve as an expert in business domains and advocate for multiple technology stacks, sharing knowledge across organizations • Lead and participate in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups • Lead and participate in retrospectives and encourage empathetic feedback • Provide support for software products in user environments • Coach the team and lead paired programming and test-driven development practices • Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
🎯 Requirements
• 5 or more years of experience (Preferred) • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Experience with Apache Kafka • API development and integration • Back-end and front-end development • Cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure • Code reviews • Database administration and data management • Docker containers • Git • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Kubernetes • Load testing • Microservices architecture • Monitoring tools • RabbitMQ • Spring Boot • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Must submit to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
