📋 Description

• Report to the Manager, Property Claims. • Handle homeowner claims in a technical capacity. • Promote customer centric values. • Interpret insurance policy wording, determine policy coverages, and set reserves on all claims assigned. • Investigate, negotiate, and settle homeowner claims of moderate to high complexity by telephone and/or written correspondence. • Comply with Allstate policies, procedures, and best practices. • Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements and thoroughly document files. • Settle claims within personal authority and follow company guidelines for claims exceeding personal authority. • Maintain a caseload reflective of a Claim Advisor, Homeowner. • Take ownership and accountability to solve customer problems. • Communicate and interact professionally with claimants, vendors, and other insurance companies. • Work collaboratively with Homeowner Adjusters and Claims Assistants.

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years relevant Claim Advisor experience. • Bilingual is an asset – English & French. • Prior insurance experience and knowledge in automobile and property claims preferred • Strong critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of claim • Communication • Customer Service • Detail-Oriented • Insurance Claims • Prioritization • Problem Solving • Workplace accommodations are available upon request.
