📋 Description

• Report to the Supervisor, Member Rescue • Act as an initial contact for members calling for roadside assistance • Respond to high-volume inbound roadside assistance calls • Record member information thoroughly and accurately • Identify call locations and assign calls accordingly • Use geographical skills to process road service requests efficiently • Determine the support required for priority calls • Maintain knowledge of AMA products, services, Roadside Assistance services, and systems • Learn AMA membership offerings and educate members about coverage and costs • Work varied shifts, especially evenings and weekends, while sitting for extended periods

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 16 hours per week and availability across at least four days per week, including one weekend day • Open availability for shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM, 7 days a week • Availability during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and Statutory Holidays • Availability to attend all training classes Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, for up to 4 weeks • Availability for onsite equipment pickup • Private, secure, dedicated home office space free of distractions • Stable, high-speed internet • Apple or Android smartphone for two-factor authentication • Ability to pass a Canadian Criminal Record Check • High school diploma • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call centre environment • Clear communication, telephone etiquette, and professionalism • Computer proficiency and comfort learning new applications and systems • Ability to work with mapping software is an asset • Ability to sit for extended periods
