📋 Description

• Perform daily and weekly review, coding, and publishing of invoices and bills in cloud-based platforms for a portfolio of clients • Ensure accuracy of key invoice and bill data fields • Record daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and other entries, in QuickBooks Online and Xero • Obtain and upload bank and credit card statements from clients in a timely manner • Perform self-reviews for accuracy • Prepare sales invoices and set up vendor payments on weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedules • Refresh bank feeds in QBO/Xero or obtain and upload bank statements when bank feeds are unavailable • Periodically compare bank statements with QBO/Xero bank feeds to confirm accuracy • Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support • Support month-end and year-end closing processes • Support Cloud Accountants with general bookkeeping-related tasks as needed

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeping role using cloud-based software or a bookkeeping / accounting degree • Can provide a commitment of 2 years • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team setting • Strong communicator, able to write and speak in English simply and clearly • Strong organizational skills, able to efficiently manage and prioritize tasks • Seeking to grow with AMLB and in their careers • Good culture fit, including being friendly, open to feedback, and respectful of others’ opinions • Experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero • Ability to use cloud-based accounting and workflow tools
