📋 Description

• Lead client onboarding engagements from kickoff through transition to ongoing service • Develop onboarding plans, timelines, and client action items • Review, reconcile, and organize historical accounting records • Complete catch-up and clean-up accounting projects • Configure and optimize cloud accounting systems and related applications • Coordinate onboarding activities across internal and external stakeholders • Prepare onboarding documentation, SOPs, process maps, and transition summaries • Monitor onboarding timelines, metrics, and project status, identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements • Analyze onboarding workload and provide recommendations to support onboarding capacity planning • Support a limited portfolio of recurring cloud accounting clients • Prepare financial reporting packages and support sales tax compliance activities • Utilize AI and technology tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and client outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Canadian cloud accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting experience • CPA designation is considered an asset but is not required • Strong QuickBooks Online and cloud accounting technology experience • Experience with accounting clean-up, conversions, implementations, or client onboarding is considered an asset • Exceptional project management and organizational skills • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment • Experience working with not-for-profit organizations is considered an asset
