📋 Description

• Review clinical documentation to code and post-surgery charges and hospital charges for insurance billing • Assist with CPT and ICD 10 coding • Maintain communication with the Team Lead and Supervisor • Maintain patient information according to confidentiality policy • Maintain compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements • Complete mandated training and in-services • Work Accounts Receivable (AR) for assigned providers • Review assigned provider surgical schedules • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of CPT surgical coding and ICD10 diagnostic coding • High School Graduate or equivalent • Minimum of three (3) years related coding or medical billing experience • CPC preferred • Thorough knowledge of computer information systems • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with limited standardization • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions • Ability to complete mandated training and in-services, including annual OSHA training and PPD placements • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality • Ability to comply with governmental and regulatory requirements • Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally • Ability to travel locally during the business day, with possible out-of-area and overnight travel
