📋 Description

• Generate, analyze, and interpret ACE and internal system reports to monitor customs compliance and regulatory adherence • Use Excel, Power BI, and other data analytics tools to evaluate trends, detect anomalies, identify compliance risks, and provide actionable insights • Perform data analysis, reconciliations, regulatory research, compliance tracking, discrepancy troubleshooting, and issue resolution • Develop and maintain compliance KPIs, dashboards, and management reports • Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions • Perform advanced Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications and provide product classification guidance • Assess and mitigate trade compliance risks involving tariff exposure, free trade agreement utilization, valuation, country of origin, and other regulatory requirements • Prepare and file Post Summary Corrections, duty tenders, protests, prior disclosures, and other customs-related submissions • Monitor laws, regulations, industry guidance, the Federal Register, CSMS messages, International Trade Today, and Deringer requirements • Analyze regulatory developments and communicate findings and impacts to department leadership • Conduct legal and regulatory research and communicate findings clearly to clients, regulatory agencies, internal stakeholders, and the compliance team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Customs Compliance, Data Science/Analytics, or a related field • 3–5 years of progressive experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or a related international trade environment • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered • Knowledge of HTS classification and customs compliance regulations • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reports • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sound decision-making skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong customer service and relationship management skills • Ability to collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders • Occasional travel may be required, less than 10% of time • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) designation highly preferred • Experience with Power BI, Access, or other data analytics tools preferred • Prior experience in a technical, regulatory, or customs compliance environment preferred • Foreign language proficiency is a plus
