📋 Description

As a digital-first, data-driven health plan, we are replacing legacy systems with modern infrastructure to deliver our members the care they need when they need it. • As an early engineer at Angle, you'll play a key role in architecting and scaling the core backend infrastructure that powers our healthcare platform. This is an opportunity to build systems from the ground up—designing APIs, structuring data models, and optimizing performance to support a high-growth company. • You'll work closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to bring new features to life, ensuring our systems are both scalable and reliable. From architecting backend services to debugging performance bottlenecks, you’ll have full ownership of the product lifecycle—shaping everything from system design to implementation. • This role is perfect for engineers who love tackling complex problems in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and want to see their work directly impact the future of healthcare.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years software engineering experience • Strong understanding of business context and a desire to connect engineering solutions to real-world problems, driving impactful outcomes for the company and its users • Strong engineering background in technical fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, and Physics • Familiarity with data structures, CI/CD, software development lifecycles, backend frameworks, and other technical tools • Demonstrated proficiency in Python and Django, experience with Java is a plus • Demonstrated ability to learn and work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision • A desire to be part of the journey to change the face of healthcare • Inspire your colleagues with your thirst for mastering the things you work with • Are a passionate developer, proud of the quality of your work
