📋 Description

• Lead complex LCA engagements from approach and methodology through delivery. • Ensure technical rigor, robust assumptions, and alignment with international standards and industry frameworks. • Shape innovative LCA approaches for new technologies, circular systems, service-based models, and evolving value chains. • Translate LCA results and environmental impacts into actionable recommendations for executives and business leaders. • Act as a trusted technical advisor and design tailored approaches for client sustainability and business challenges. • Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across projects, reviewing models and deliverables. • Use tools such as SimaPro, OpenLCA, and Excel to support high-quality delivery. • Lead and develop project teams, manage priorities, delegate, mentor junior colleagues, and build organizational LCA capabilities. • Contribute to business development, proposals, RFP responses, client conversations, and expansion of Anthesis’ LCA offering. • Contribute to thought leadership, new methodologies, automation, LCA at scale, Product Carbon Footprinting, sustainable product design, and technology-enabled sustainability transformation. • Represent Anthesis at conferences, industry events, and other forums.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on LCA experience across multiple sectors, including leading complex assessments. • Degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. • Strong command of SimaPro, OpenLCA, and Excel; GaBi experience is a plus. • Knowledge of ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol Product Standard, PEF, PCRs, EPD-related EN standards, and relevant industry-specific frameworks. • Experience with GHG inventories and corporate carbon footprinting. • Experience applying LCA to complex or emerging contexts, including circular systems, new technologies, service-based systems, or evolving value chains. • Understanding of system boundaries, feedstocks, data quality, assumptions, and methodological choices. • Ability to work with incomplete or imperfect information and develop defensible approaches. • Strong client-facing and communication skills for technical and executive audiences. • Ability to lead multiple complex projects, manage competing priorities, and maintain quality and delivery standards. • Experience mentoring and developing others, with technical leadership capability. • Commercial mindset and confidence contributing to business development, proposals, and client conversations. • Experience with technology, semiconductors, digital services, AI, cloud infrastructure, or technology-sector footprinting is a plus.
