📋 Description

• Prepare food items using prep lists and standard LandSea recipes • Assemble sandwiches, wraps and salads according to recipes, portion standards and customer requests • Follow hygiene standards, maintain food storage and comply with health regulations • Clean and sanitize prep areas, utensils and equipment throughout shifts • Restock ingredients, monitor freshness and report low supplies • Maintain the sandwich fridge and made-to-order sandwich bar • Maintain accurate food rotation to ensure quality and freshness • Work efficiently with kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy periods • Adhere to safety practices, procedures and guidelines • Work scheduled 10- or 12-hour shifts in a remote camp and live on site during scheduled shifts

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred • Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful • Speak, read and write English • Basic math and counting skills • Ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently • Team player • Camp kitchen experience is an asset • Food Safe Level 1 is required • LandSea and site-specific Orientation and Health and Safety • Drug and Alcohol Clearance • Criminal Record Check Clearance • Health Questionnaire • Valid Government Issued ID for travel if required • Ability to perform physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing • Willingness to work in a drug- and alcohol-free workplace
