📋 Description

• Continuously monitor and triage alerts and detections across SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity, email, network, and cloud telemetry • Apply severity classification and initial enrichment to events • Investigate suspicious activity from validation and pivoting through root-cause analysis • Use attacker tradecraft knowledge, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and the cyber kill chain to reach supported conclusions • Execute response playbooks to contain threats, including isolating hosts, disabling compromised accounts, blocking indicators, and resetting credentials • Coordinate handoffs with client and engineering teams • Partner with Detection Engineering to reduce noise and false positives • Propose, test, and deploy analytics, automations, and SOAR playbooks • Maintain audit-grade case documentation, timelines, notes, and customer-facing communications • Meet triage, investigation, and notification SLAs while maintaining accuracy, low false-positive rates, and client satisfaction • Feed lessons learned into detections, playbooks, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles • Work assigned Day, Swing, or Night shifts within a 24x7 rotation and respond to on-call escalations

🎯 Requirements

• One or more years in an IT security role or IT support role with significant security responsibilities • Working knowledge of TCP/IP and common protocols • Windows and Linux fundamentals • Active Directory / Entra ID knowledge • Basic knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP • Knowledge of common attacker techniques • Familiarity with at least one SIEM and one EDR/XDR platform • Ability to write or modify basic KQL, SPL, or similar queries • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a diverse, high-performance team environment • Strong commitment to customer service • Must submit to a background examination • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where they reside • Must be available for an assigned Day, Swing, or Night shift within a 24x7 rotation, including weekends and holidays as scheduled • Ability to respond to on-call escalations when required
