📋 Description

• Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer buying cycles. • Develop and execute targeted and creative outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and schedule initial meetings within your target account base. • Target accounts at the right buying cycle to maximize efficiency. • Educate potential clients on the benefits of automation and demonstrate how AutoStore solutions can address their specific challenges vs other technologies. • Act as a consultative partner, guiding clients through the automation journey and helping them develop comprehensive strategies. • Clear the path for AutoStore to be considered as a strategic partner for warehouse automation projects. • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners and influencers within target accounts. • Effectively communicate the value proposition of AutoStore and articulate its competitive advantages. • Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales process. • Create and maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, in our CRM system. • This includes creating and executing on account plans and strategies. • Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance and pipeline progress. • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years in business development, with successful track record in outbound prospecting and opportunity creation, preferably within the automation, supply chain or technology industries. • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Experience creating and executing on account plans and strategies. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience influencing client strategy. • Resource and creative approach to business development. • Experience with CRM software. • A background in, or understanding of warehouse automation is a plus.
