📋 Description

• Promote suppliers and products within the VWR Furniture portfolio • Sell the entire VWR Lab Design and Furniture product portfolio within the Eastern PA, Southern NJ, and upstate NY territory • Assist customers with lab-space design and product selection across educational/medical research, industrial, pharmaceutical, biotech, production, and healthcare markets • Identify leads • Identify and close transactional furniture opportunities and full lab renovation and expansion projects • Train VWR general representatives on the furniture program and motivate them to sell target product areas • Communicate with sales representatives, customers, suppliers, estimators, designers, project coordinators, and installers • Help manage the local furniture portfolio and communicate sales goals, trends, and performance • Ensure the VWR Furniture Program is best-in-class • Assume overall territory ownership with general sales representatives and management • Attend regional meetings, strategy sessions, key account blitzes, and on-site technical seminars • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in construction science or related scientific area preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred • 3-5 years sales experience preferred • Construction sales a plus • Divisions 10, 11, 12 experience a plus • Ability to understand architectural plans and specifications • Ability to prepare material take-offs and estimate costs • Experience in project management is a plus • Ability to use AutoCAD is a plus • Solid communication, organizational, time-management, and PC skills • Willingness to travel overnight • Willingness to travel to customer locations a minimum of 3 days per week • Must hold a valid driver’s license
