📋 Description

• Set technical direction for the product squad • Own architectural decisions and manage technical risk • Represent engineering on the Architecture Review Board • Drive adoption of AI coding tools across the full software development lifecycle • Deliver production-grade full-stack code using Node.js or Python backends, event-driven AWS architecture, and React • Mentor and develop engineers across AI and full-stack domains • Collaborate with platform teams and contribute reusable patterns • Ensure shipped software is compliant-by-design, auditable, and suitable for FCA-regulated financial services • Shape product, platform, engineering practices, and technical direction as a senior technical leader

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, including meaningful time building and operating AI systems in production • Technical leadership experience setting direction, making architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and influencing team practices • Strong hands-on AI/LLM skills, including prompt engineering, RAG, model evaluation, and agent frameworks • Deep expertise in TypeScript and Node.js • Solid experience with React • Experience with Python is beneficial • Cloud-native development experience on AWS, including serverless, event-driven architecture, and Lambda • Curiosity about AI developments and judgment in evaluating technologies • Commitment to auditability, compliance, and responsible software development
