📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy data and software products on-premise and in the cloud • Collaborate with Development, Security, and TSP Ops teams • Contribute technical expertise to solution design and implementation • Participate in the data engineering lifecycle and support project delivery • Apply architectural and design principles to improve data-system performance, capacity, and scalability • Determine data requirements and system impacts with clients, stakeholders, and data engineers • Contribute to cloud viability analysis, detailed work planning, and estimation for major projects and complex assignments • Promote best practices and continuous improvement • Create and maintain solution design documents, diagrams, and related deployment materials • Implement modern data and analytics practices using Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce, Python, and SQL • Design, develop, build, and maintain cloud-based applications and services on Azure • Report to the Sr Director, Data Platform Delivery and Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, technical diploma, or other applicable software development work experience • Knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software development • Ideally, exposure to technical leadership or mentorship • Experience designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and resilient solutions for cloud-native and non-cloud environments • Experience meeting Enterprise service level, security, and business continuity requirements • Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid • Experience with Azure Application/Data Services, including Service Fabric, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL • Experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure Monitor / Application Insights • Understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and container-based deployment models • Configuration and migration experience, including Azure Container Instances and Kubernetes • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools, including Azure DevOps, Docker CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code models • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Experience or certification with AWS or Databricks is an asset • Experience supporting wealth management and/or credit unions is an asset • Fluent communication skills in English are required • Bilingual French skills are an asset
