📋 Description

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases, including needs assessments, RFx processes, and enterprise agreement negotiations • Own renewal management for existing software contracts, initiating reviews 90+ days before expiration • Analyze utilization with Technical Data and Innovation team members to identify savings through license optimization, consolidation, and elimination of redundant applications • Partner with IT, Security, Legal, and business stakeholders to evaluate suppliers • Negotiate SaaS and perpetual license agreements, including pricing models, SLAs, data security provisions, and exit terms • Maintain supplier relationships through business reviews, performance tracking, and issue resolution • Feed market intelligence and sourcing insights to the IT Category Manager • Participate in special projects and complete other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors Degree required • 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management required • Direct experience in negotiating software and SaaS agreements • Deep knowledge of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, named user, concurrent, consumption-based) • Strong analytical capabilities – comfortable with spend data, utilization metrics and TCO modeling • Experience with enterprise software suppliers (Microsoft, Salesforce, Smartsheets, Adobe, etc.) • Familiarity with SaaS management platforms (Zylo, Productiv, Flexera, or similar)
