• Own the end-to-end product roadmap for Bankjoy's kids and family financial empowerment product, from discovery and requirements through launch and iteration • Conduct market research on trends, competitive dynamics, and user needs in kids fintech and financial education • Develop user stories, personas, and journey maps for children and their parents or guardians • Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA to define product requirements and align technical solutions with business and user goals • Work with credit union partners to understand member needs and create value for financial institutions and families • Lead ideation, development, and launch of features supporting financial engagement, savings behavior, goal-setting, and financial literacy • Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable plans for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Prioritize the product backlog and coordinate with engineering leadership for timely execution • Define, track, and analyze product performance metrics and user engagement data • Ensure product initiatives comply with COPPA, CFPB guidelines, and similar regulations for financial products for minors
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Education, or a related field • Minimum 7 years of product management experience within fintech, digital banking, financial wellness, or financial education; candidates without this background will not be considered • Passion for financial empowerment and financial education • Proven experience managing a product through its full lifecycle, from 0-to-1 launch through growth and iteration • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for financial products, including those serving minors • Experience conducting robust market research and translating findings into successful product features • Ability to create detailed user stories and manage complex product portfolios across multiple stakeholders • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills • Agile/Scrum certification or experience working in an Agile environment is a plus • Experience building products for younger audiences, families, or underserved communities is ideally preferred • Experience working with financial institutions, credit unions, or community banks is a strong plus
