• Review LNG Tank deliverables such as data sheets, specifications, and material requisitions • Lead LNG Tank design and evaluation • Coordinate assigned work with other technical personnel • Review equipment manufacturers’ or subcontractors’ design documents and prepare comments and recommendations • Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data by other engineers, specialists, or suppliers • Apply engineering department procedures to projects • Apply design standards and guides applicable to LNG Storage Tanks • Foster a work environment based on openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction
• Recognized mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university • Registration as a Professional Engineer • 10 to 15 years of relevant LNG Storage Tank design experience • Experience in LNG project pressure equipment or in an operating LNG plant is considered an asset • Knowledge of industry and regulatory codes and standards such as CSA Z276, ASME, ASTM, API 620/625 • Successful clearance of applicable pre-employment checks may be required, including Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol test, Reference checks, and Provincial Driver’s Abstract • Ability to work from Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto, or remotely within Canada
