📋 Description

• Execute daily money movement operations across Bastion’s payments and stablecoin infrastructure • Monitor payment flows across domestic and international rails • Catch and resolve transaction issues • Validate pricing and reconciliation • Support partner integrations • Drive operational incidents to resolution • Collaborate across teams to maintain SLAs, improve workflows, and strengthen monitoring and alerting • Run daily reconciliation of crypto and fiat across banks, PFIs, liquidity providers, and exchanges • Monitor on/off-ramp and payment rails and flag stalled or failed transactions • Resolve returns, rejects, and recalls • Own reconciliation and exception handling across assigned rails and partners • Escalate payment issues, settlement delays, and failed conversions in partnership with Customer Support • Coordinate with Treasury on operating balances, prefunding, rebalancing, and settlement timing • Improve reconciliation systems, dashboards, and reporting; track throughput, settlement latency, and exception rates • Build or rewrite SOPs and runbooks • Automate workflows and implement AI-enabled processes • Partner with Product and GTM to launch new rails, partners, and corridors • Define acceptance criteria, support end-to-end testing, and validate settlement and reconciliation before go-live • Support product readiness and QA by writing clear specifications and testing new functionality • Build monitoring and alerting to identify problems before they reach customers • Create a repeatable playbook for onboarding new rails and partners into production

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be based in the United States • Preference for candidates based in the NYC area or candidates on/willing to work East Coast hours • Legally authorized to work in the US • Must complete a criminal background check and pass it as a condition of employment • Must be 18+ years of age at the time of application • Experience with daily reconciliation of crypto and fiat across banks, PFIs, liquidity providers, and exchanges • Experience monitoring payment flows across on/off-ramp and payment rails • Experience handling returns, rejects, recalls, stalled payments, failed transactions, settlement delays, and failed conversions • Ability to coordinate with Treasury on operating balances, prefunding, rebalancing, and settlement timing • Ability to work with Product and GTM on new rails, partners, and corridors • Ability to define acceptance criteria, support end-to-end testing, and validate settlement and reconciliation before go-live • Ability to translate Payment Operations requirements into clear specifications and test new functionality • Ability to build monitoring and alerting systems • Ability to use automation and AI-enabled workflows to reduce manual effort and improve exception handling
