📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable front-end features using Next.js, React, Vue.js, and TypeScript • Own end-to-end development of web features, including testing, deployment, and maintenance • Build modular and reusable UI components • Optimize web performance through SSR/SSG, lazy loading, and responsive design techniques • Monitor and improve page load time, TTI, and Core Web Vitals • Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to define requirements and deliver features • Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and engineering best practices • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers • Support CI/CD pipelines and reliable deployment processes with DevOps • Ensure code quality, accessibility, security, and automated unit, integration, and E2E testing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred) • Bilingual in English and Mandarin • Approximately 8 years of professional software development experience focused on front-end web applications, or approximately 6 years with an advanced degree • Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience with Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and Chrome DevTools • Experience designing and developing micro-frontend architectures • Hands-on experience developing Mini Programs / Mini Apps, such as WeChat Mini Program or similar platforms • Understanding of SSR/SSG, CDN strategies, caching, and responsive design principles • Familiarity with front-end security best practices • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows • Exposure to AWS or GCP • Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development • English and Mandarin fluency required for professional communication • Legal authorization to work in Canada
